Anna Boateng earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Taylor University and her Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a certificate in Evidence Based Trauma Treatment from Michigan State University. Anna has worked with Child and Family Charities since 2019, first as a clinical intern at Angel House, then in the Juvenile Justice Division, and most recently as a therapist located at Holt High School. She is currently working in the Behavioral Health Department located at the main office. Anna has experience working with youth affected by trauma in foster care, residential facilities, the juvenile justice system and through a school-based clinic. Anna is nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and working towards certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is also trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS). Anna currently provides emotional health therapy to individuals ages 10+ in the greater Lansing area.
