Delana has her bachelors in Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Youth and Society. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from Michigan State University. She is trained in Trama Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trust Based Relational Intervention, & Mental Health First Aid. She has been employed at Child and Family Charities since 2022 where she provided wraparound and case management services to youth and adults ages 12-25 that may have been experiencing housing instability, mental health struggles or in need assistance navigating life stressors. Delana completed her internship in the Behavioral Health Clinic providing therapeutic services to children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, family conflict, etc. Delana currently offers therapy to youth and their families utilizing trauma informed practices and a strength-based approach with a deeper understanding of the effects of intersectionality and trauma on the individual and entire caregiving system.”
