Angel House

About

Angel House is a supportive, short-term residential program for female youth in foster care, ages 16–19, who are preparing for their next steps toward independence. The program is designed for youth who need additional guidance and structure before transitioning to a more independent living arrangement.

At Angel House, young people receive personalized support to help them build life skills, complete their education, explore employment opportunities, and overcome barriers to long-term success.
Services at Angel House include:
  • Safe and stable housing
  • Case management and individualized planning
  • Independent living coaching
  • Life skills training (budgeting, cooking, job readiness, etc.)
  • 24/7 staff support
  • Referrals to additional services
  • Daily, in-person supervision
  • Support with school, job training, and employment connections

Resources

Independent Living Plus Program

Angel House ILP program provides a temporary staff supported residence for female identified foster care and/or juvenile system youth ages 16-19 who are not yet appropriate for Independent Living. Youth in the program will receive education and services to overcome the barriers preventing the youth from transitioning to a less restrictive setting.

Angel House provides the following services to youth:

  • Safe and Secure housing
  • Case Management Services
  • Independent Living Coaching Services
  • Independent Living Skills Training
  • Service Referrals
  • A 24/7 crisis and availability
  • Daily, in-person supervision with youth
  • Coordination for education and employment opportunities
  • Other Services as needed individually
