  • Youth was kicked out of their home or asked to leave
  • Youth is staying overnight in spaces not meant for living like outdoors, in cars, in or on the property of abandoned buildings, in a garage, at a park, staying in bus or train station or other 24-hour public buildings, staying in substandard housing that is unsafe

  • Youth is losing their housing within 14 days and does not have the resources or support network to obtain another housing option
  • Youth is staying in a hotel paid for by themselves, a family member, or a friend, but they cannot stay longer than 14 days due to financial strain
  • Youth is doubled-up or living with another family or friend in a ‘host-home’ environment, meaning youth is crashing there but unable to contribute to shared living expenses to remain long-term
