Emergency Shelter for Youth ages 12-17
About
- Structured and supervised shelter with shared living spaces. The facility is licensed to provide safe shelter and supportive services to youth ages 12-17 with parent/legal guardian permission
- Initial shelter stay is limited to 21 days
- Youth and guardians are offered counseling and case management services that focus on resolving family conflict and safely reunifying the youth in the family home at shelter exit
- The family is connected to other services that promote family communication, improve family relationships, and prevent future crises.
- Aftercare case management provides ongoing family check-ins to ensure family goals are sustained. The Family Advocate continues to identify, advocate for and coordinate ongoing services to meet the evolving needs of the family.
