Housing units are located in Ingham County. Can be shared with other youth for affordability.
Financial assistance may be available to assist with application fees, security deposits, moving costs, and utility deposits
Rental assistance for up to 24-36 months (combined with amount of time spent in Crisis or Transitional Housing)
Case Management is focused on helping youth maintain a lease at fair market rent or secure non-time limited housing
CFC may co-sign leases as needed to get started. Youth are responsible for understanding and abiding by all lease requirements.
Rent Expectations: Youth is required to meet with their case manager a minimum of monthly to review their monthly income and pay 30% toward their rent and utility expenses.
Youth will work with their case manager to increase income and manage monthly expenses with the goal of taking over the lease or starting a new lease on their own.
