Rapid Rehousing for ages 18-24
About
- Housing units are located in Ingham County. Can be shared with other youth for affordability.
- Financial assistance may be available to assist with application fees, security deposits, moving costs, and utility deposits
- Rental assistance for up to 24-36 months (combined with amount of time spent in Crisis or Transitional Housing)
- Case Management is focused on helping youth maintain a lease at fair market rent or secure non-time limited housing
- CFC may co-sign leases as needed to get started. Youth are responsible for understanding and abiding by all lease requirements.
- Rent Expectations: Youth is required to meet with their case manager a minimum of monthly to review their monthly income and pay 30% toward their rent and utility expenses.
- Youth will work with their case manager to increase income and manage monthly expenses with the goal of taking over the lease or starting a new lease on their own.
