Transitional Housing for Pregnant/Parenting Youth/Families ages 18-21
About
- For pregnant/parenting youth/families with up to 4 individuals in the family unit, ages 18-21.
- Shared housing in a large living environment. Can live with up to 12 other youth and their dependent children. Shared common areas include kitchen/dining, living room, laundry room, and outdoor space.
- Youth may live in transitional housing up to 18 months.
- Youth are provided with case management services and life skills services to achieve permanent housing.
- Rent expectations: Residents are expected to pay $50 dollars per month or 30 percent of their income. Those funds are retained in a CFC savings account and returned to the youth when they leave the program to assist with the start-up costs of permanent housing.
