Transitional Housing for Pregnant/Parenting Youth/Families ages 18-21
About
For pregnant/parenting youth/families with up to 4 individuals in the family unit, ages 18-21.
Shared housing in a large living environment. Can live with up to 12 other youth and their dependent children. Shared common areas include kitchen/dining, living room, laundry room, and outdoor space.
Youth may live in transitional housing up to 18 months.
Youth are provided with case management services and life skills services to achieve permanent housing.
Rent expectations: Residents are expected to pay $50 dollars per month or 30 percent of their income. Those funds are retained in a CFC savings account and returned to the youth when they leave the program to assist with the start-up costs of permanent housing.
