Julie received her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Wayne State University and went on to receive her Master’s of Social Work at Michigan State University. Currently, she is working as the Clinical Supervisor at Child and Family Charities. Before supervising, Julie has 10 years of experience working with children and families ranging from direct care work to mental health therapy. She has worked in residential, outpatient, and school settings, but has a soft spot for working with children and their parents who are struggling with big feelings. Julie has training in trauma informed work as well as attachment focused work. She uses a comprehensive approach combining play therapy and talk therapy when working with her clients and their families.
