Kaitlyn received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University with a focus in Evidence-Based Trauma Treatment and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University with a minor in Youth Services. She has experience working with all age groups, with a focus on trauma, depression, anxiety, sexual assault and domestic violence, behavioral issues, and many other areas. Kaitlyn uses a person-centered, empowerment, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach and is committed to working with clients to achieve their goals. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Kaitlyn’s goal is to provide a safe environment while supporting the client on their therapeutic journey.
