Professional development presentations by request. Gateway staff will attend your staff meetings or community collaborative and provide information and training on recognizing youth homelessness and connecting youth and young adults to the programs and services available to them
Community Events. Child and Family Charities teams enjoy staffing tables at community events, sharing information about our programs and services, and networking with community agencies.
Community Partnerships. Gateway embraces collaborative partnerships with other agencies serving youth, families, and those experiencing housing instability.
CoC Youth Subcommittee- Gateway leads Ingham County’s Continuum of Care’s Youth Subcommittee. Youth providers and community agencies interacting with runaway and homeless youth and young adults are welcome to join us in this collaborative space as we work together to prevent and end homelessness for youth and young adults and their dependent children in the tri-county (Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties) area. Youth Action Collective- The Youth Action Collective (YAC) is a group of youth and young adults ages 14-24 (under the age of 25) who have experienced homelessness or housing instability. The mission of the YAC is to be the voice of youth experiencing homelessness. Their vision is to connect youth to stable housing resources and Eliminate Youth Homelessness (include link to CoC webpage)
